Boston Common 5k

Klocked - Augmented Reality Sports Network brings you the Boston Back Bay Physically Separate & Socially Connected 5k.

This 3.1 mile (5 km) flat, loop course starts and finishes at the famous Boston Common. Take this scenic tour through Boston's Back Bay, down Boylston Street, across the Boston Marathon finish line, finish on Charles Street. Run through the famous Copley Square, past the Boston Public Library, the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, and more.

Run the race in your backyard and see Boston's downtown. Enter your avatar into this official race to win prizes, medals, and join the Boston Back Bay 5k Leaderboard.

Everybody races together, wherever the pandemic has you grounded, and everybody sees the sites of Boston as their running avatar is pushed along by each participant's walk/run. Take a step on Commonwealth Ave. and so does your running avatar. Run fast down your block and your avatar runs fast down Boylston. Take your phone out at any time during the race and watch other racers, well, likely pass you by, because you're looking at your phone.
